I can only choose 4 books?!

Today I have to choose 4 books. I'm gonna go wayyyyy back.

Number one: The Little House on the Prairie series. I started reading them in the 3rd grade and I remember it was the first really big chapter books I read. The first one took me a month to read I think. lol. But they were all my fave. I was sad when I finished the series, so I read them again :) I've probably read them all atleast three times. I even had a cat named Laura when I was in elementary school. I hope that Mary likes the books when she gets a bit older. Infact I'll probably buy her the whole series. If she doesnt like them I'll read them again. lol.

Number two: I pick all of romance novels as a general favorite :) mainly historical romance. I love reading a good dirty tale of a knight or duke and lady or duchess. Bertrice Small is my favorite historical romance author :) Bedazzled is probably my favorite book of hers. I came across it in highschool and I've probably read it 5 or 6 times :) You may have already noticed, but I like to read books over and over again!

Number three: Sh*t my dad says. Hands down the funniest book I have EVER read. If it can make you literally LOL while reading it's a keeper. I downloaded it to my Nook this past summer and I just finished reading it for the 2nd time ;) It a sons compilation of funny sh*t his dad has said over the course of his lifetime. Just a warning though. If you are offended by foul language do NOT read it. I warned you. However, if you don't mind it please PLEASE read it.

Number four: The perks of being a wall flower. Another book that I have read countless times :) Infact it may be time to read it again... A book about adolescent awkwardness in the 90's. Full of all the awkward things you would expect a teenager to go through. Even though I'm grown up now it's still a good read. Mainly b/c the teen boy telling the story is mature beyond his years.

And this is off the record. lol. I also love the Twilight series. duh.

And on to other news. I am sick off being poor.

I know we are blessed more than many others when it comes to our money situation. And of course we have a roof over our heads, clothes on our backs, and we are able to clothe and feed our 4 kids and thats something to be proud of :) But I'm ready to stop having to struggle. Every week seems like a struggle to make that money to pay bills and buy groceries (4 kids eat ALOT), and I don't always make great money at the roadhouse...

Sometimes I really regret taking that semester off from school. I could already be working as a teacher making that salary. Teachers aren't in it for the money, but it's more than I'm making now. But then again who knows where my life would have led  me had I stayed in school... it was b/c of that semester break that I ended up moving to Sevierville, moved back less than a year later and got my room mate and then my room mates mother fixed me up with Chris :)

Chris and I are on the right path to living comfortably. Eliminating our debt will help us tremendously, and as long as we don't stray from the path we are on we will make it there eventually. Hopefully sooner than later.

So as a conclusion I would also like to say that I started this blog mainly for myself. A way to stop logging on to Facebook as much and a place for me to put my sometimes scattered thoughts. I love when I get positive feedback from friends or others, but foremost I do it for myself. That being said if you don't like what I have to say in my blogs or you find offense in what I write. Then don't read it. Last time I checked EVERYONE is entitled to an opinion. Last time I checked everyone agrees to disagree, meaning no 2 people are going to have the same views on everything. So, keep reading IF you wish :)

Catch you on the flip side.
